Nursing Recruitment Incentive

• $8,000 for Registered Nurses
• Permanent and Temporary HealthPEI positions 50% Full-time-equivalent (FTE) or greater are eligible when return-in-service hours can be guaranteed by the Manager
• A 3,900 working hour return-in-service (RIS) is required for RNs with less than 24 months of experience
• A 1,950 working hour return-in-service agreement is required for RNs with greater than 24 months of experience

Rural Incentive

• $5,000 for positions located outside of Charlottetown
• Available independently or in addition to the Nursing Recruitment Incentive

Student Loan Incentive

• A one-time financial incentive up to $8,000 is available for positions within Charlottetown
• Applicants must clearly demonstrate that they are NOT eligible for Canada Student Loan Forgiveness
• Available independently or in addition to the Nursing Recruitment Incentive

Relocation Assistance

• Relocation assistance may be available at the discretion of the Health PEI Hiring Manager
• Receipt-based reimbursement for permanent hard-to-recruit positions
• Available independently or in addition to the Nursing Recruitment Incentive, Rural Incentive and Student Loan Forgiveness programs.
