    Nursing Recruitment Incentive

    • A one-time financial incentive of $5,000 is available for Licensed Practical Nurses
    • Permanent and Temporary Health PEI positions are eligible when return-in-service hours can be guaranteed by the Manager
    • A 3,900 working hour return-in-service (RIS) is required for LPNs with less than 24 months of experience
    • A 1,950 working hour return-in-service agreement (RIS) is required for LPNs with greater than 24 months of experience

    Rural Incentive

    • A one-time financial incentive of $5,000 is available for positions located outside of Charlottetown
    • Available independently or in addition to the Nursing Recruitment Incentive

    Student Loan Incentive

    • A one-time financial incentive up to $8,000 is available for positions within Charlottetown
    • Applicants must have a federal Canada Student Loan
    • Applicants must demonstrate that they are ineligible for the Canada Student Loan Forgiveness for Family Doctors and Nurses program.
    • Available independently or in addition to the Nursing Recruitment Incentive
